Age Gap Calculator
Enter two birthdays — see the age gap in years, months, and days. Works for couples, siblings, or any two people.
Updated April 2026
Enter both birthdays to see the age gap.
What it does
Enter two birthdays and see the gap in years, months, and days — calendar-correct, not a rough “subtract the years” approximation. Borrows days from the previous month when the subtraction goes negative, so a Feb 28 to Mar 1 gap reads as 1 day, not a month. Works for couples, siblings, sports eligibility, or any two humans.
For a single person’s age today, use Age Calculator. For the math behind the calendar borrowing rules, see How to calculate an age gap.
How to use it
- Pick Person 1’s birthday.
- Pick Person 2’s birthday.
- Read the gap in years, months, days — plus total days.
- Order doesn’t matter; the tool uses the absolute gap.
