What it does

Generate a scannable Code39 barcode from any letters, numbers, and a handful of symbols (dash, period, space, dollar, slash, plus, percent). Rendered on a canvas in your browser, downloadable as a PNG, ready for inventory labels, event badges, asset tags, or homework projects.

Code39 scans reliably on virtually any barcode reader and prints well at low resolution. For QR-style 2D codes use QR code generator; for smaller assets, favicon generator.

How to use it

  1. Type the text or number to encode (Code39 charset).
  2. Adjust size and scale to taste.
  3. Preview the barcode in the canvas.
  4. Click Download to save the PNG.
