Frequently asked questions
- Will this work in [my app]?
- If the app renders Unicode (which is essentially every modern app), yes. Old SMS or some text-based terminals may show squares for characters they don't support, but bios on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and WhatsApp all render correctly.
- Why do some characters not flip?
- Some characters (Cyrillic, less-common punctuation, emoji) don't have an upside-down counterpart in Unicode. The tool leaves those as-is rather than substituting a wrong glyph.
