Conveys information about multiple resources in situations where multiple status codes might be appropriate.

The members of a DAV binding have already been enumerated in a preceding part of the response.

What it does

Search every HTTP status code — 200 OK, 301 Moved Permanently, 404 Not Found, 500 Internal Server Error, and the more obscure ones like 418, 429, and 451. Each entry includes a plain-English meaning, the RFC reference, and common causes, so you can tell a bad request from a server problem in a hurry.

For MIME types use MIME type lookup. For URL breakdowns, URL parser. For schema markup, schema markup generator.

How to use it

  1. Type a status code number or keyword.
  2. Scan the matching results filtered by 2xx / 3xx / 4xx / 5xx.
  3. Click a code for full description, RFC link, and common causes.
  4. Copy the plain-English description into a bug report or docs.
