Frequently asked questions
- Where is the data stored?
- In your browser's localStorage on this machine only. Nothing is uploaded. If you switch browsers or computers, export the CSV first, then re-import (open the file in Excel/Sheets and copy back).
- How many candidates can I track?
- Practically: a few hundred per browser before localStorage starts to feel slow. The tool isn't designed for enterprise-scale hiring (Greenhouse / Lever / Ashby) — it's the spreadsheet replacement for small teams running 5–20 reqs.
- Can multiple recruiters share the board?
- Not natively — there's no server. The export-to-CSV path lets you sync to a Google Sheet manually, which is the practical workaround. If you need multi-user real-time collaboration, you've outgrown the free tier and our true-cost calculator probably says "paid wins".
